I want to know and celebrate Black women.

Award-winning journalist Tierra Smith founded Wins For Black Girls in 2019. Smith is originally from Milwaukee but currently resides in Houston. She graduated from Grambling State University and earned a Master’s degree from Louisiana State University. Tierra tells women-centric and minority-focused stories highlighting the triumphs, challenges, and future of those marginalized communities.
